What can I compost?
- Food Scraps
Including cooked meats, bones, dairy, fruits, veggies, eggshells, pasta, nut shells, bread, coffee grounds, grains, etc. - BPI Certified Compostable Products
Including biodegradable paper and plastic dinner wares, plates, bowls, cups, forks, knives, spoons, etc. - Non-glossy Paper and Cardboard
Including pizza boxes, newspaper, coffee filters, napkins, paper towel, etc. - Yard Waste
Including tree trimmings, leaves, chemical free lawn clippings, and invasive species - Herbivore Manure
Including horse bedding, rabbits, goats, sheep, etc.
What is not compostable?
- Glossy or wax coated paper
- Raw meat
- Treated wood
- Branches larger than 3 inches in diameter
- Ashes
- Cooking oils or grease
- Metal, plastic, glass
- Hazardous chemicals
- Medical waste or vomit
- Rocks
- Non-herbivore manure
Including cat litter, dog, reptile, human, etc.
What happens if I put the wrong materials in my bin?
Please remove anything non-compostable from your bin. If contamination is noticed during service our driver will remove it immediately on site. If contamination persists a fee will be assessed.
Can I bring my yard waste to you?
You can drop off your yard waste by appointment only. Please call or email us.
Do you offer collection services?
